It is official!
Carsala has launched and what better way to back up a good, old fashioned press release than to get it online at the New York Times, begin a fun contest, have an automotive industry site feature the CEO and get tweeted about on Twitter?
Michael Banovsky of Vlane.com and founder of #carchat was awesome enough to give Tyler a chance to write about car buyers and how they each have their persnickity ways of muddling through the car buying process and suggests how Carsala fits into the new way people buy used cars.It is a succinct piece and I am glad Tyler had the time to come up with some funny ways that people shop for cars.
Now, I have a caveat.
In an off the cuff kind of moment, I take responsibility for stating that Tyler is formerly (pre-Carsala days) an Old School buyer but, as he corrected me and my gut told me even in the moment, Tyler was, in fact, an OCD car buyer.
Personally, if I want anyone behind a company who will get me the car I want in about 3 days, he better be the OCD type!
The Carsala Contest!!!!
The contest is starting to whirr away now! At this moment we have had 5 awesome submissions and I really look forward to chuckling at a lot more. I can’t vote (of course that would be lame) but I want everyone else to vote and submit their own stories. C’mon! We have all had the funny/awful moment when we were buying a car!
It has been a fun Carsala Monday!
